Cabaret Jamon

Jani Leinonen has joined forces with the internationally known Finnish shoe designer Minna Parikka to do the set and costume design for Cirko’s upcoming show Cabaret Jamon in Helsinki, Finland.
The premier of Cabaret Jamon will be on the 28th of November, 2013.

The Politics and Pleasures of Food 21.9.-17.11.2013

Jani Leinonen‘s works are shown in the Politics and Pleasures of Food exhibition in Halle 14, Leipzig, Germany.
In The Politics and Pleasures of Food, the social, political and economical dimensions of food production and consumption are interpreted and redefined by Leinonen and 15 other international artists.
The exhibition is open from 21st of September until 17th of November 17, 2013.

Jani Leinonen’s works are included in the summer exhibition Helmiä at Sara Hildén Art Museum

The exhibition is composed of works from the collection belonging to the Sara Hildén Foundation including both classic works by the masters of the early 1900’s and paintings and sculptures by contemporary Finnish and foreign artists.
Well-known, modern classic works on display include pieces from Pierre Bonnard, Giorgio de Chirico, Juan Gris, Paul Klee, Fernand Léger and Pablo Picasso.

Aurora Reinhard at Amos Anderson Art Museum, The Stina Krook Foundation Anniversary Exhibition

Aurora Reinhard has been invited to participate in The Invisible Lady exhibition, which is included in the Helsinki Festival 2013 programme. The exhibition deals with themes such as identity and role-play, and asks how do people blend into their environment without losing their contours. How do you become visibly invisible?
The exhibition is open from 16th of August – 21st of October 2013.

Showroom Helsinki opens a new gallery – Telakkaranta

After five successful years Showroom Helsinki is proud to announce that it soon will be opening it’s second gallery in Helsinki, Finland. The over 500m2 gallery is located at the former dock area Telakkaranta, in the western harbour district in Hietalahti. The opening of the new premises will be held in September with an exhibition showcasing Jani Leinonen and Aurora Reinhard.
